November 5 may seem far away but if you vote from Mexico you should plan TODAY. Even if you are registered to vote you must request an absentee ballot if you plan to vote from Mexico this year. Taking action immediately is critical if you vote in one of the 22 states that require you to mail your ballot. See map below. Ballot will arrive by email around Sept. 21.

The deadline to register to vote in some states arrives in early October. Check fvap.gov for the exact date in your state.

If your state permits we urge you to use electronic means to register to vote, request you absentee ballot, and cast your ballot.
